Karen and Louis – Hickson Street Lookout and King Edward Park
We are all a little weird and life’s a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love – Dr Suess
Karen and Louis are what love is all about…they met when travelling, they travelled together (and still loved each other after it), and continue to travel the world together, embracing ‘Wanderlust’. They have been through hard times when Karen recently lost her mum, but it’s obvious that they are each other’s rock and they know when to let the other rest on the rock or climb high when needed.
I only met these guys a couple of days before their wedding, and I only spent three hours with them, but sometimes it’s not the amount of time that you have known someone that allows people to be themselves in front of you, sometimes it’s just that people are themselves and I freaking love that. I love every expression and every tear, every hug and every glance that they make at each other.
A first look at Hickson Street lookout, a quick drive by to pick up the bridal party, some ‘Can-Can’ dancing in Alfred Street, an emotional ceremony in King Edward Park then a cocktail party upstairs at Black Sheep on Darby (styled by Louis’s mum and her friend)…absolutely perfect!
